Before co-founding Delk McNally LLP, Mike McNally was a partner at Ice Miller LLP in Indianapolis. While at Ice Miller, Mike focused his practice on litigation and litigation avoidance strategies in four areas: supply chain disputes, disputes over competitive advantages (trademark, restrictive covenants, etc.), software-related litigation, and disputes involving the control and operation of closely held businesses. In the course of his legal career, Mike has represented and advised companies, boards of directors, and individuals. Mike has been involved in jury trials in both state and federal court covering a variety of claims, including claims based on Fourth Amendment violations, product liability and wrongful death.

In an effort to provide value-added client service, Mike obtained his master’s degree in business administration after beginning his career as an attorney. Based on his legal and business background, Mike assists clients in developing risk management and litigation avoidance strategies. This includes identifying potential risk areas and ways to minimize these risks, conducting incident investigations, and counseling clients on the impact of corporate policies and practices. He has also used these skills and experiences to assist clients in bringing new products to market.

While in law school, Mike worked for the Worker’s Compensation Board of Indiana. While at the Worker’s Compensation Board, he worked as the board’s liaison with the Indiana General Assembly. In this role, he drafted legislation, analyzed proposed legislative changes and testified at committee hearings. Mike also spoke to various organizations regarding Indiana’s worker’s compensation laws. In addition, he administered Indiana’s self-insurance program and Indiana’s Second Injury Fund. Mike also served as an associate editor of the Indiana Law Review. He also interned at the Indiana Court of Appeals. Mike graduated with honors.

He is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Mike, his wife, Nicki, and their four children reside in Carmel, Indiana.
